Tushan Kiln is located in the wide valley between Nanshan and Tushan in Huangbu Town, the south bank of the city. In the 1930s, American missionary, sinologist, and Mr. Ge Weihan, director of the Museum of Chinese West China University (formerly Sichuan University), discovered the kiln ruins here and collected some specimens of the Song Dynasty. In the 1980s, after a large amount of archaeological work, 12 kiln sites were discovered within a 5 km radius of Huanghua.

After repeated research and research by experts, it is believed that the kiln site group of Rongchang Anfu Town in Chongqing, the Hechuan furnace kiln site, the kiln site of Fuling city, and the Qingxi kiln site of Qingxi Township in Banan, all products Similar to Tushan Kiln, the four kiln ruins were included in the Tushan kiln.

Tushan Kiln developed to the peak in the middle and late Southern Song Dynasty and became the center of porcelain production in Chongqing.
