Causes: 1. The wear between the brake pin shaft and the brake shoe pin shaft hole of the trailer is serious. After the wear, the clearance increases, and the brake shoe sloshing position in the brake drum is unstable, especially when the car bumps violently, the friction pad on the brake shoe partially comes into contact with the brake drum, resulting in friction resistance and causing the wheel to “beat” .

Remedy: Replace the parts. After the worn shaft and hole are rounded, add a bushing and adjust the gap between the friction plate and the brake drum to the normal position. When tightening the outer nut, the tightness of the nut outside the bearing should be tightened in the end so that the bearing has no clearance but can be flexibly rotated.

2, the brake shoe return spring elasticity is insufficient. When the pedal is relaxed, after the brake cam returns, the friction plate is still in the braking position, and the tire is in a braking state, resulting in the wheel “beats”.

Remedy: Replace the return spring and bearing.
