The study looked at the efficacy of micro-transplantation in 185 elderly patients with acute myeloid leukemia from China, the United States, and Spain. The results showed that the complete remission rate of leukemia in these patients was as high as 74.6%, and the 2-year overall survival rate was 50.2%. The incidence of organ failure and organ failure was only 8% and 2.2%, respectively. In the absence of preventive measures, only 1.1% of patients developed acute graft-versus-host disease (rejection) symptoms. It is understood that even for young and middle-aged acute myeloid leukemia, the cure rate of chemotherapy is less than 40%, the cure rate of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is up to 70%, but the incidence of complications is high, the mortality associated with transplantation is high, elderly patients Even this effect is not achieved.

Micro-transplantation does not require white blood cell antigen matching, and the donor has a wide range of sources.
