1, antifreeze

Although Jasmine is afraid of freezing, it is not so fragile. When the minimum temperature drops below 5 degrees, you can move the jasmine into the room. Be careful not to move in too early. Let jasmine experience moderate temperatures. In the process, jasmine will occur. A series of changes to adapt to the upcoming winter.

After entering the room, place it in a sunny place.

When the lowest temperature of the room is below zero, use a plastic bag to set up the insulation (two bags are available). Note that the bag should be opened after the day temperature rises above zero.

2, watering

Most of the flowers are watered to be “not to be poured or poured, but to be poured”, but the dormant plants cannot be hard-coated. Jasmine enters dormancy in winter and requires very little water. Usually, it will be pruned before entering winter (as described in detail below). Therefore, the evapotranspiration area is reduced. In winter, no matter the foliage or basin soil, evaporation is rare. Once the water is irrigated, the pot earth will be too wet for a long time, coupled with the low temperature, it is not far from death. Therefore, it is only necessary to keep the interior of the potted soil moist in the winter (pay attention to the inside, and it doesn't matter if the soil on the potted surface is hard to dry). Usually a small amount of water can be 2-3 weeks, can be poured in the basin. If you have a big tank, you may not need to water it all winter. Watering should be done at noon as long as the temperature is relatively high. Don't wait for the cold air to come, and you'll water it.

3, trim

To cultivate jasmine, you must master pruning. Jasmine grows 3-6 times a year. The first shoots in the spring are the strongest, and the branches are weaker once. Before the winter, all three or more branches will be cut off, leaving only one or two branches, and the two branches may be cut properly, leaving only 1-2 pairs of leaves. The pruning is to lose the burden and prepare for the winter. The thin branches and leaves are nutritious, burdensome, and cut off.

1, 2 branches left part of the leaves for photosynthesis, is conducive to winter. Prune before spring sprouting. One branch stays at 2--5 knots, and the rest are cut off.
