If the piglets are not fed in time, it will affect their normal growth. After the piglets are born, they will begin to grow teeth 6-7 days later. The gums will be itchy and eaten. Feeding them for free will prevent them from biting the grass and soil and causing indigestion and diarrhea. First, make up for mineral feed. From the 6th to the 7th day of age, the piglets should start to feed mineral feeds by adding a small feed trough in the feeding room or in the feed bar, and adding a small amount of bone meal, salt, and other mineral feeds to the fried soybeans. Mix the corn or sorghum into the feed tank and allow the piglets to feed freely. Second, supplement feeding compound feed. From the 15th day of age, the piglet is fed with full-priced compound feed, and gradually increases the amount of feed and the number of feedings as the food intake increases. Third, feed green feed. In order to promote the development of the gastrointestinal tract of piglets and enhance their ability to digest and absorb roughage, the piglets are fed a certain amount of green feed from the 30th day of the piglet and gradually increase the amount of replenishment. Fourth, provide enough clean drinking water. The piglets need enough water for their growth and development, and they should be given clean drinking water starting 5 to 6 days after birth. If the water supply is insufficient, the piglets will drink dirty water, causing diarrhea and other diseases. Feeding piglets must be done in a clean, nutritious, easily digestible feed, and at the same time, care should be taken not to suddenly change feed varieties. Otherwise, piglets will suffer from indigestion.
