Egg-laying chickens avoid five types of drugs
1. Sulfonamides: These drugs are currently widely used synthetic synthetic antibacterial drugs, with a wide range of antibacterial, stable efficacy, ease of use and so on. Commonly used are: sulfadiazine, sulfathiazole, compound sulfamethoxazole, compound pyrimidine and so on. Commonly used in the control of chickens, coccidiosis, appendicitis and other bacterial diseases. However, these drugs have the side effect of inhibiting the production of eggs. They can only be used for chicks and young chickens, and must be banned for laying hens. 2. Furans: It is a synthetic broad-spectrum antibacterial drug. Furazolidone is commonly used. It has special effects on salmonella-induced diarrhea, and it is also known as furazolidone. Clinically, it is mainly used for intestinal infections, such as chicken psoriasis, coccidiosis, chicken typhoid, and infectious rhinitis. However, this drug also has the side effect of inhibiting egg production. Layer chickens should not be used. 3, Department of purines: This type of drug has a relaxing smooth muscle effect. Can relieve bronchial smooth muscle spasm and produce asthma. It is used to relieve dyspnea caused by chicken respiratory infections. Egg production decreased after laying hens were used, and they remained recoverable after drug withdrawal. 4, testosterone propionate: Department of male hormones, mainly used for swaddling chicken woke up, immediately after acid retention, long-term repeated use will inhibit the hens ovulation, and even male variations affect egg production. 5, chlortetracycline: Department of tetracycline is a broad-spectrum antibiotic, has a good effect on chicken white fleas, chicken typhoid, chicken cholera. Its side effects are not only irritating to the digestive tract and damaging the liver, but also can combine with the calcium in the blood to form insoluble calcium salts that are excreted from the body, thus impeding the synthesis of the eggshell and reducing the chicken's egg production rate.
