The closed suction tube has designed for proven effective in preventing infections, reducing cross-contamination, reducing intensive care unit days and patient costs.
Type: Adult 72 hours closed suction tube, adult 24 hours closed suction tube, children closed suction tube
Features&Benefit
1. Allow for suctioning a patient on a ventilator without loss of PEEP or mean airway pressure.
2. Reduce oxygen desaturation by allowing constant patient ventilation.
3. Reduce the potential of infection to the clinician
4. Maintains a sealed airway to reduce exposure to secretions.
5. Eliminates patient"Spray Black"
6. Provide maximum suction and is designed to reduce trauma.
7. Enhance patients safety avoids disconnection from the ventilator during catheter change-out or untangling of lines.
8. Decrease accidental extubation ordecannulation during moving of the patient
9. Color coded rings provide fast size recognition.

Recently, Canadian researchers have recently developed a powerful "artificial arm" that can be used to "lift weights" driven by changes in ambient air humidity, effortlessly lifting weights many times their own weight.
The "artificial arm" developed by the research team is a small strip of plastic. They first apply a layer of chrome and gold to the surface of a plastic film, and then apply a layer of microgel. Microgels are cross-linked polymers that swell into a few micrometers of colloidal particles in a solvent. Canadian researchers used a negatively charged poly-N-isopropylacrylamide microgel and acrylic acid and precipitated on the gel as a positively charged counterion with a solution containing polycations.
When the entire material is dried, the hydrophobic interaction between the polycationic hydrocarbon regions is greatly enhanced, causing the polycation-containing layer to shrink. Due to the strong electrostatic attraction between the polycation and the microgel, the ends of the tape are bent upwards, causing the entire material to distort upward. As the humidity of the air increases, it expands back to its original state. The researchers hanged one of these straps in the living room for testing. By changing the humidity, it can "catch" a small bag "lifting" it up. In another experiment, they hang a bunch of paper clips at the end of a miniature stretch "arm", changing the humidity to increase or decrease the weight of the "arm", and as a result it can lift up to 14 times its own weight.
"The human arm weighs about 6.5% of the entire body, which is equivalent to a 75-kilogram person lifting a weight of 68.3 kg with one arm." Michael Spey of the University of Alberts said, a distorted " The artificial arm "can even hang up 52.2 grams of weight and will not stretch out, which is equivalent to a 75 kg person's curved arm holding 1280 kg of weight.
