Decrease the moisture content of the corn seed to 12.5%, store for 0.5 to 1.5 years, increase the viability of the seeds by more than 99%, and germination percentage by 97% to 98%. The most effective measure to reduce seed moisture is ventilation. Ventilation can be divided into two types: 1. Natural ventilation According to the inside and outside temperature and humidity, reasonable opening and closing doors and windows, using air convection ventilation, the effect depends on the internal and external temperature difference, wind speed, stacking method, stacking size, seed porosity and many more. When the outside temperature and outside humidity are lower than the inside of the bin, the wind speed is large, the stacking is small, and the ventilation effect is good when the porosity is large, otherwise the effect is poor. Natural ventilation requires air to circulate as long as there is a temperature difference and wind speed. For this reason, reasonable ventilation time must be selected. Measure the temperature and relative humidity inside and outside the warehouse before ventilating. When the temperature and humidity outside the warehouse are lower than that in the warehouse, ventilation is allowed; the temperature and humidity outside the warehouse are the same as those in the warehouse, and the other is lower than the warehouse. The second is the grain-collection method, which requires stricter requirements for seeds. And the pellets are prone to insects and mildew. The general relative humidity is less than 80%, and it is better to use the ear to hide. It is suitable for small-scale storage in the farmhouse. When the grain is hidden, it can be sealed with a low-temperature lid to keep the seeds at a low temperature and reduce the damage of insects and molds.

IV. Application:

This product is applied in alkaline sizing system of AKD (Alkyl Ketene Dimer) to restrict largely the hydrolysis and migration aptitude of AKD. [The third generation" AKD is mainly used for the making of multipurpose duplicating paper filled by precipitated calcium carbonate. 60% cationic polymer can adhere to the fiber after the paper containing cationic polymer being reused, by which enhance hydrophobicity of the paper. Added to waste paper deinking agent, its cationic hydrophilic group adheres to ink particles easily, especially for hydrophobic aniline ink. After flotation, the whiteness of pulp increased. This product is also applied as cationic surfactant in pitch control agent for pulping.
