Tubular and disc type. The disc type is an earlier, more mature aerator. The aerators at the beginning were disc-shaped and were made of corundum and ceramic.
The disadvantages of the disc aerator are mainly as follows.
1, there is a dead zone of aeration (simple analysis, the entire bottom of the plate), the mixing performance is not as good as the tube.
2. Relatively wasteful pipelines, the entire project cost is higher than the tubular type.
3. When not aerating, the mud is deposited directly on the surface of the pan and restarted until the mud is re-mixed, which consumes 30-40% more energy than the tubular type.
4, the layout density is not as good as the tube type, if your pool is relatively small, the aeration volume is very large, so you can only use the tube type, because no more discs can be laid in this plane.
Advantages: According to the national standard, the disc head loss is smaller than the tube type, about 1000pa; the oxygen transmission efficiency is slightly higher than some tube type.
The advantages of the tube type are obvious compared to the disc aerator:
1. Good mixing performance. The entire tube aerator is 360-degree perforated and there is no aeration dead zone.
2. The cost of some pipelines is saved, and the construction cost is significantly lower than the disc type.
3. When not aerating, the mud can only be deposited in a small area in the middle of the tube surface, and the arc will increase slightly to the side, and the mud will not sink on it. When it is started again, the mud will be shaken up and stirred quickly. Therefore, in the processes of SBR and CASS, the tubular advantage is very large.
4. In the case that the aeration amount is very large and the pool surface area is relatively small, only the tubular type can meet the requirements.
